Corbeau Hangs is the goth dark-wave/post-punk project by Manuel Perez based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Inspired by goth legends like Clan of Xymox, Sisters of Mercy and Danse Society as well with a childhood filled with Rock en Español blasting Caifanes and La Union.

Corbeau Hangs explores a more electronic approach to post-punk and dives into modern dark-wave indluences like the driving bass tones of Twin Tribes and the deep cutting vocals of She Past Away.

Tragic hope, hauntings, and the cult search into the unknown. Corbeau Hangs is an X-Files-esque look into the anomalies of the nature of 80s darkness. Blending post-punk grittiness, driven industrial tones and the atmospheric dilemma of darkwave and cold wave to garnish a wave of familiar and nostalgic hints while being something totally of its own electronic persona. 

Manuel is joined by Nancy Hinojosa in this project reminiscent of horror soundtracks to complement the societal void in which these sounds find themselves in.

Corbeau Hangs has had an average of 17K monthly listeners for the past 6 months as of July 2026. Racking up over 5ook for their hit song “Necroamor” on Spotify and over 700k on Youtube with fans all over the world. Corbeau Hangs has played venues like the Fox Theatre Pomona, the Van Buren, Crescent Ballroom, The Viper Room, White Oak Music Hall and much more. Along with top goth festivals like Dark Force Fest and Dark Ceremony. They have shared the stage with artists like Twin Tribes, London After Midnight, Drab Majesty, The Birthday Massacre, Forever Grey, Light Asylum, Vision Video, Deceits, Past Self and amongst many more.

Corbeau Hangs has released 2 studio albums since their debut “Optograms” in 2023 and their second album in 2025 under Artoffact Records titled “Archive State” which have both sold over 300+ copies combined in physical copies.
